Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is a central government scheme implemented by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). The objective is to provide financial assistance to unemployed youth and women for self-employment opportunities.

✅ Beneficiaries

  • Individuals above 18 years of age
  • Minimum 8th pass (if project cost exceeds ₹10 lakhs)
  • Self Help Groups (SHGs)
  • Trusts, Societies, and Cooperative Societies
  • Special preference to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Ex-servicemen/Differently-abled

💰 Project Cost Limits

Manufacturing Sector

Maximum: ₹25 Lakhs

Service Sector

Maximum: ₹10 Lakhs
